So much to celebrate!

There IS so much to celebrate today!

First... HAPPY EARTH DAY! Today marks the 40th anniversary of this great day to reflect and remember that we should be taking care of this wonderful place on which we live. The earth is not ours forever - it is merely ours to share with each other and future generations. It is ours to share with all kinds of creatures: big creatures, small creatures, slimy ones too (yes, even those with differing opinions about what is slimy and what isn't!) Let us work to better ourselves and better our planet. Every step we take counts. Every bottle we recycle counts. Every light that we turn off counts. Every SMILE that we pass on counts.

Also, today Zoey turns 22 months old!! 22 months on the 22nd! It's a great day.

We started our celebrations today with a trip to the playground. We saw some of our friends. We met some new people (hopefully to turn into new friends)!

As for the rest of our day... it's up in the air! Here's hoping it is just as wonderful as the beginning. :)

**Here's a shout out to our neighbors that came out to the playground today!! (They've had their grandson for the last few days and it was fun to play again before he went home this afternoon!)
