7. "Fruit"

Fruit?! What?  Well...  yes. 

Last week, Zoey and I saw the topic word was fruit and I said poo-poo to shooting the apples in the kitchen.  My bright idea was to take the morning and head down to our local shake shop.

It was a beautiful day and we parked by the park and walked over to grab a smoooothie full of fruity goodness.  The idea being to take a fancy, artsy-fartsy photo of the shop girl making our smoothie.  Well, the best laid plans, right?!  I took my camera, but the shop was crowded and I just didn't think about it.  Later on, after finishing our smoothies, we ran into a friend with her little boy and BAM, that's when I thought about the picture.  Too late for fruit that way.

While going through the pictures of that day, I found this one.  She's eating "fruit-esque" gummies.  Good enough for me!! 

6. "Chores"

The topic for this particular day (oh, the 6th day...  a bit ago) is "Chores."  I saw some comments from other random users that this one may be particularly hard.  I really didn't think so...  the day came...  I took a picture of what I was doing that was "chore" related.  I also took pictures of my broom in the closet - since I do that about four times a day, everyday.  As photos go, this one was more interesting to me.  Hope you like it.

5. "Something you love"

You knew this would have to be a Zoey picture, right?!  Well, yes, but it is more than that.  I love the time I get to spend with Zoey - our occasional outings to town.  These little mornings are usually trips to get a cookie for Zoey and a cuppa coffee for me.  Today was just that (plus a committee meeting for good measure).  ;)

This little girl and I get to spend our days in our own way.  We are really lucky.  It's fun mornings out with Bunny (and Roosevelt too this morning) that make it that much more special.

*I also just LOVE to watch her run!!  Always have loved it. 

4. "Tree"

Since I didn't take these specifically for the project, I thought I'd give you two.  I didn't go out in search of tree photos this weekend.  Which is sad because I love trees!!  But, life happens.... and these pictures haven't seen any love yet.  :)

3. "Black & White"

Playing in the bubbles at the kitchen sink.  The stool came from the Park Boulevard house.  Keith and I found it while searching in the attic for more Christmas stuff this past year.  It is a perfect fit.

2. "Water"

I've made this photo a day thing a chance to really just use my camera.  Although I read something somewhere that said... if you plan to take on a photo a day challenge, set up your picture and take it.  The statement referred to not getting caught up in taking 100s of photos and then having the chore of sorting through all of them.
The theme for day #2 is Water.  We live in a river town.  "TO THE RIVER!" I said to Zoey.  If my camera battery hadn't died, I would have taken and taken and taken....  still I had trouble sorting through what I did take.  :)

But I thought these birds and big giant "stick" were fun.  I also like the bridge reflection.  The water was really high yesterday - still is.



**A big shout out to my friend, Leslie, too!!  She had her fifth baby yesterday!  And who knows, she might literally have had a water birth too. ;)  xo
