Spontaneous.

The last few months haven't been the best...  massive job/financial changes, Zoey's newfound screaming-til-she-throws-up fits, serious bouts with the icks due to crappy weather, copious amount of work "volunteered" to me...  etc. etc...  John and I were talking about this last night and we realized we just haven't had any real family fun in a while.  The last I could remember was a spontaneous trip to "The Bakery" a few weeks back.
The day started as many do.  We were out searching for a cup of coffee (our machine is broken and we just haven't gone to find one... I've been hesitant since that whole ABC News story about no "Made in America" coffee makers - anywhere.  That, and, I thought this would keep me from drinking it so much... ha!)

We were also following the train horns...  We hear many trains around us.  (Quite lovely from this distance -and across the river valley)  Zoey loves sounds of all kinds and the trains are so fun for all of us.... Makes me think about Grafton and that side of the family.

Then we just decided to GO...  Drive... and end up getting some lunch!  We hit one of John's favorite places.  Food?  Check!
 Coffee?  Check!
 Fun atmosphere? Check!

My two favorite people in the world with me?  Double CHECK!

The day ended (as it had started) by us chasing the train.  This time we caught up to one close enough to wave at the conductor.  He waved back!!  In this shot, you can see him. (Click on it to blow it up.)

A COOKIE for the ride home?  Check!

Here's hoping for more fun times with my favorite people.  :)
